10-3. HOW TO PROCEED "SELF-DIAGNOSIS"
10-3-1. When a problem occurs during operation <PAR-21MAA>
If a problem occurs in the air conditioner, the indoor and outdoor units will
stop, and the problem is shown in the remote controller display.
1 [CHECK] and the refrigerant address are displayed on the temperature
display, and the check code and unit number are displayed alternately as
shown below. (If the outdoor unit is malfunctioning, the unit number will
be "00".)
2 In case of group control, for which remote controller controls multiple
refrigerant systems, the refrigerant address and check code of the
unit that first experienced trouble (i.e., the unit that transmitted the
check code) will be displayed.
3 To clear the check code, press the
When using remote-/local-controller combined operation, cancel the check code after turning off remote operation. During
central control by a MELANS controller, cancel the check code by pressing the
10-3-2. Self-diagnosis during maintenance or service <PAR-21MAA>
Since each unit has a function that stores check codes, the latest check code can be recalled even if it is cancelled by the remote
controller or power is turned off.
Check the error history for each unit using the remote controller.

Switch to self-diagnosis mode.
