Troubleshooting

Symptom
No video display.
Remote control not
functioning.
CF card or MS Duo
not recognized by
the recorder

Possible cause
Unit has no power.
Cable connecting AV Out
to video monitor is not
properly connected.
Obstruction in front of
infrared sensor on
recorder.
Low battery power.
Card not inserted
properly.
Possible remedy
Ensure that unit is
plugged in correctly. You
should see a green LED
on the front panel if it is
plugged in correctly.

page 10 for information.
Ensure that a line of sight
exists between the
remote control and the
sensor on the recorder.
Replace battery in the
remote control.

about proper handling of
CF and MS Duo memory
cards. Never force mem-
ory cards into the
recorder.
