Installing a hot-swap power supply
The server supports a maximum of two hot-swap ac power supplies. Power supply
1 is the default/primary power supply. If the server has two power supplies and if
any of the power supplies fails, the server will not have redundant power and you
must replace the power supply immediately.
Note: You cannot mix high-efficiency and non-high-efficiency power supplies in the
server.

The power control button on the device and the power switch on the power
supply do not turn off the electrical current supplied to the device. The device
also might have more than one power cord. To remove all electrical current
from the device, ensure that all power cords are disconnected from the power
source.
