Basic Functionality DECTRIS X-ray detectors provide direct detection of X-rays with optimized solid-state sensors and CMOS readout ASICs in hybrid pixel technology. Well-proven standard technologies are employed independently for both the sensor and the CMOS readout ASIC.

    TVX or other image viewers. Many viewers do not support 32-bit TIFF files; how- ever, these images may be read in IDL, MATLAB or with the image viewer ALBULA provided by DECTRIS. The default image file type for TVX is set in tvxrc; however, any file type can be specified explicitly. Camserver has no default, so the file type must be specified explicitly for each exposure.
