    Setting the time Turn on the system. Press CLOCK/TIMER SET on the remote. Proceed to step 5 when you set the clock for the first time. Turn ./> (or press . or > on the remote) to select “CLOCK SET?”. Press ENTER/YES.

    Loading a CD Press CD 1 – 3 Z. The disc tray opens. Place a CD with the label side up on the disc tray. When you play a CD single (8 cm CD), place it on the inner circle of the tray. To load other CDs, press a different Z and place the CD in the disc tray.

    Press M. The character you selected in step 5 stops flashing and the cursor shifts to the right. Repeat steps 4 to 6 to complete the entire title. If you made a mistake Press m or M until the character you want to change flashes, then repeat steps 4 to 6.

    Tuner Presetting radio stations You can preset 20 stations for FM and 10 stations for AM. Press TUNER/BAND repeatedly to select “FM” or “AM”. Pressing TUNER/BAND turns on the system. Press and hold m or M until “AUTO” appears. Press m or M. The frequency indication changes and the scanning stops when the system tunes in a station.

    Listening to the radio — Preset Tuning Preset radio stations in the tuner’s memory first (see “Presetting radio stations” on page 14). Press TUNER/BAND repeatedly to select “FM” or “AM”.     Tape – Play Loading a tape Open the lid with your hand and insert a tape. With the side you want to play facing up Close the lid with your hand. To remove the tape, lift up the tape from the side as shown in the illustration.
