2 Select Messages → Send Status.
3 Select the required status message and press the Menu/OK key.
4 Do one of the following:
Enter the number and press and hold the Menu/OK key. Select Send.
Select the required talkgroup from the TalkGroup List.
The display shows one of the following delivery reports:
Status Sent
Status Failed

Additional Address

The Additional Address feature allows the radio to send Radio Messaging System (RMS) messages
and Local Information Protocol (LIP) reports to additionally defined recipients.
The default addresses where the radio sends RMS messages and LIP reports are defined by your
service provider. If an additional address is selected and enabled, RMS messages and LIP reports are
also sent to that address.

Enabling or Disabling Additional Address

Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu/OK key.
2 Select Messages → Add. Address → Enable.
3 Select one of the following options:
To activate the feature, select On.
To deactivate the feature, select Off.

Selecting Additional Address

Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu/OK key.
2 Select Messages → Add. Address → Select Address.
The radio displays a list of aliases.
3 Scroll to the required alias and press the Menu/OK key.

Favorite Contacts

This menu stores your favorite contacts from the Contacts menu. A contact that has multiple numbers
is listed out as multiple entries in the My Contacts menu. Each entry is differentiated by the Contact
Type icons (see
Table 16: Contact Types on page 61
