Description
Full
displays the picture at its original size.
If the source is a 16:9 high-definition
(720p/1080i) signal, the picture fills the
screen.
If the source is a 4:3 standard-definition
signal that has been upconverted, bars are
shown to fill the 16:9 screen.
Wide Zoom
enlarges the center portion of the
picture proportionately. The left and right
edges of the picture are stretched to fill the
16:9 screen.
Zoom
enlarges the 4:3 picture
proportionately to fill the 16:9 screen. Some
clipping may occur.

When you change channels or inputs, the Wide Mode settings revert
to the
setting in the Screen Menu (only if the input source is
4:3 Default
480i or 480p).
Zoom
is useful for
