To clean the housing, use a slightly damp cloth and never use solvents or
cleaning agents that react with plastics. Use some washing up-liquid on the
damp cloth for stubborn stains.
You can clean the lid (1), egg holder (2) and measuring cup (6) in a
basin. Once cleaned, dry all the parts well.

8.3 Descaling

Limescale may build up in the heating tray (3) over time. This can lead to
loss of energy and shorten the egg cooker's service life. You should
therefore remove the limescale as soon as it becomes visible.
Use a descaling agent that is used for coffee machines and other
household devices. Proceed as described in the instructions for the
descaling agent.
Rinse the heating tray (3) several times with plenty of clear water after
descaling it.

9. Storing the device when not in use

Disconnect the plug from the socket when you are not using the egg
cooker. Wrap the power cable onto the cable rewind (5) underneath the
egg cooker. Please make sure that the egg cooker is stored in a clean, dry
place away from direct sunlight.
