Flushing of the hoses is required if the next vehicle to be serviced contains a different type of A/C system oil than
the previous vehicle serviced. During the Hose Flush process, the compressor and tank liquid solenoid are on, the
high- and low-side valves are open, and the charge and oil return solenoids operate intermittently to flush hoses of
refrigerant and any residual oils.
