Chapter 1. Appliance safety precautions

Observe physical, electrical, and electronic component safety precautions.
DANGER:
An electrical outlet that is not correctly wired could place hazardous voltage on the
metal parts of the system or the devices that attach to the system. It is the responsibility of the
customer to ensure that the outlet is correctly wired and grounded to prevent an electrical shock.

DANGER:
Multiple power cords. The product might be equipped with multiple power cords. To
remove all hazardous voltages, disconnect all power cords. (L003)

Introduction

CAUTION:
This equipment must be used in the manner specified in this document and any related
documentation. Failure to do so may bypass the protection provided by the equipment.

Damage

If you think the equipment is damaged in any way, remove all external cords and cables and contact
your equipment supplier.

Handling

CAUTION:
A fully configured enclosure weighs up to 135kg (298lb). An unpopulated enclosure weighs 46kg
(101lb). Use appropriate lifting methods.
The packaging includes lifting straps wrapped and buckled around the enclosure. Ensure the lifting
straps buckle is properly closed, and lift with the loops attached to the lifting straps.
