INSTALLATION PREPARATION

Money-saving tip: If hiring a plumber to do the installation you can save some money
by preparing the tank ahead of time. This cuts down on the time the plumber has to
spend and doing so is simple enough that most people can accomplish it in less than an
hour.
2.1—Verify riser tube position
NOTE REGARDING LOADED TANKS: Systems that arrive loaded will have the riser
tube in place and attempting to remove it will require the tank to be emptied and
refilled. DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE THE RISER TUBE FROM A LOADED TANK.

The funnel is a complementary item
that MAY be included with some
unloaded systems to help fill the
polyglass tank with the resin. If
your system does not include one, a
blender pitcher with the blade
assembly removed will screw onto
the tank and work well.
