  • Page 2 Why a cooling unit for wine cellar? To ensure its optimal ageing, the wine needs an environment which respects the essential parameters for its good evolution (constant temperature, controlled humidity, permanent darkness, air circulation, absence of vibrations, adapted storage). Traditionally, the wines are stored in natural cellars where these essential criteria are respected for their good evolution.
  • Page 3 What are the differences with a home air-conditioner? Each unit has its own use The air-conditioner maintains the temperature of a room at the chosen level, but the temperature precision is inaccurate and it also dries the air. The difference of temperature between the inside and the outside should not exceed 10°C for a normal operation.
  • Page 4 How does the INOA unit operate? INOA is a cooling unit equipped with a ventilated cooling circuit. The cold system consists in making constant circulation of the air around the bottles inside the cellar. The air is then drawn towards the evaporator through which it cools and brings apart moisture that it contains, before starting its cycle again.

Installation An easy installation The INOA unit is ready to be installed. No cooling pipe junctions are necessary, no need for gas filling. The right thing to do is to determine the right location for the unit and to drill 2 holes (Ø210mm) in the wall.

  • Page 10: Installation On The Door

Installation Installation on the door INOA installation onto the door of a cellar is possible. This requires an adapted solid door to avoid vibration which could damage the unit. Of course, it is essential to check that the door is capable of supporting a weight of 46kgs.
  • Page 11 INOA can be placed inside or outside the cellar, fixed to a wall in upper position or nearly on the floor. In any case INOA has to be screwed to the wall through a specific frame bracket (which comes with the unit).

A perfect insulation is of prime importance to obtain the best performances from the INOA unit. A lack or an absence of insulation multiplies by 3 the power necessary to air-cool the same volume and it increases electric consumption.
  • Page 15 Installation Things to be done To obtain the optimal performances of INOA unit, we advise to insulate all parts of the cellar with extruded polystyrene of minimum thickness of 80mm, the most efficient and economical on the market (extruded polystyrene 80mm corresponds to 4.80 m of stone wall!).
  • Page 16 INOA advantages Temperature regulation by a remote control The regulation of the temperature as well as its display is carried out using a wireless remote control. The remote control works by radio frequency (433,92Mhz). It is unidirectional system. The remote control is equipped with an integrated temperature probe. Thus way, it could be located closer to bottles and without taking into account the cooling unit location.
  • Page 17 Installation Things not to be done The presence of windows or picture windows in the air-cooled wine cellar is excluded. In the air-cooled wine cellar, the presence of sources of heat (heating by the ground, the piping of heating, radiator, boiler,…) is also to be avoided. In a long narrow room, never install the cold air exhaust of unit widthwise.
  • Page 18 INOA ensures a mixing of permanent air of the room, a descent in regular temperature of the bottles and a perfect homogeneity of the temperature. INOA recycles more than 500m³ of air per hour. Thus, in one hour, INOA brewed 10 times the volume of cellar which to be air-conditioned.

This system dries the air of a cellar. EuroCave finalized an exclusive technology which maintains a positive and constant evaporation temperature (above 0°C). This is why INOA does not dry the air inside the cellar by minimizing water condensation.
  • Page 20 The automatic speed adjustment of the condenser and evaporator fans taking account of surrounding temperature allows to avoid electrical over consumption. The INOA unit always operates at the right speed. In addition, positive and constant evaporation temperature (above 0°C) does not action the machinery too much.
  • Page 21 Both condenser (warm air flow) and evaporator (cold air flow) fans are automatically inter-regulated to reduce their speed as much as possible. Thus: At 25°C of surrounding temperature, INOA is quite soundless • At 35°C of surrounding temperature (ex: hot summer period), the fans turn •...
