    TAPE OPERATION Use Type I (normal) tapes only. INSERTING A TAPE Press Z STOP/EJECT to open the cassette holder and insert a tape with the exposed side up and the side to be played facing out. Push the cassette holder to close. PLAYING A TAPE Press x PLAY while the power is off.

    RADIO OPERATION Select RADIO with FUNCTION. The power is turned on. Press s repeatedly to select the desired band. The previously tuned station is received. Press r, t to select a station. During FM stereo reception, After listening, select TAPE/ 6STANDBY with FUNCTION to turn the power off.

    (CSD-TD30 only) PRESETTING STATIONS You can preset up to 15 stations in each band. Select a station. Press PROGRAM once so that “M” is displayed to store the station. A station is assigned a preset number, beginning from 1 in consecutive order for each band. Preset number Frequency Repeat steps 1 and 2.
  • Page 8 CD OPERATION Select CD with FUNCTION. The power is turned on. Press PUSH OPEN to open the disc compartment. Place a disc with the printed side up and close the disc compartment. Total number of tracks and total playing time are displayed.

    (CSD-TD30 only) PROGRAMMED PLAY Up to 16 tracks can be programmed from the disc. In stop mode, press PROGRAM. Press r, t to select a track, then press PROGRAM to store it. Track number Program number Repeat step 2 to program other tracks. Press s to finish the program.
