CPU dedicated readout port
Host dedicated readout port
CPU or Host readout port
[Caution] The writing port and readout port must have a one-to-one relation. In the reset initial state, all readout
ports are connected to the same readout port Dn_W0_S (n=0,1). Therefore, be sure to make the proper settings.
3.9.8.5 Virtual Sensor Partition
The Virtual Sensor partition allows the storage of arbitrary data (Virtual Sensor data) and there are 10 of these
partitions. This partition can store data as either Calculation Operable Sample Type or Calculation Inoperable
Sample Type.
Writing to the Virtual Sensor partition is only possible from the CPU. Writing from the Host is prohibited.
The Virtual Sensor partitions have only one readout port for the Host per partition.
3.9.8.6 Random Access Partition
The Random Access partition can be used for data communication between the Host and CPU, and only one of
27 partitions can be set as the Random Access partition. The Random Access partition has a non-FIFO structure,
and data can be randomly written and readout to/from the CPU or Host.
Reading/Writing access is possible be selecting an arbitrary address from the 40 Kbytes of the SRAM. However,
caution is required so that the data of other partitions is not corrupted by exceeding the region secured for the
Random Access partition.
The Random Access partition is used as a buffer region for communication between the Host and CPU.
3.9.8.7 Partition Common Specifications (other than the Random Access Partition)
When writing a value to the FIFO write register (Writing Port), the value is stacked in the FIFO.
The behavior when writing data during FIFO Full can be selected from the following:
(1) Data writing failed, and older data is stored
(2) The oldest data is overwritten
For readout, there are either one or multiple readout ports depending on the type of the partition.
When reading out from the FIFO readout register (Readout Port), the oldest data corresponding to that port can be
readout.
Each readout port has the following functions.
Manages the readout positions separately
