Setting up and connecting

1. Place the unit on a stable, heat resistant, horizontal and level sur-
face.
2. Connect the electric plug of the alternating current adapter to the
socket marked „DC IN 9V" on the set and then insert the mains plug
of the alternating current adapter into a properly installed 230 V/50
Hz wall socket. Please ensure that the mains voltage corresponds to
the information on the type plate.
CAUTION:
The included AC power supply cord and AC adaptor are for use
with this unit only. Do not use them with other equipment.
Use this unit only with a 9V (
AC adaptor could damage the unit.
NOTE:
When the unit is not going to be used for a long time, disconnect the
AC power supply cord from the AV outlet.

Start-up of the device/Introduction

NOTE:
Some keys are to be found both on the device itself and on the remote
control. Keys with the same designation have the same function.
1. Open and remove the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert two batteries of type AAA/R03 (1.5 V), ensure correct polarity
(+ and -). Start with the negative pole (-).
3. Attach and close the battery compartment cover.
If the remote control is not used for a prolonged period, remove the
batteries in order to prevent battery acid leaking.
CAUTION:
Diff erent battery types or new and used batteries must not be used
together.
Batteries are not to be disposed of together with domestic wastes.
Dispose of the used batteries at the relevant collection bin or at
your dealer's.
WARNING:
Do not expose the batteries to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
Never throw batteries into the fi re. There is a danger of explosion!
