8.0 TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
Motor will not start or stops while
operating
Circuit breaker trips of fuse blown in
fuse box
Water or oil leaking from bottom of
pump
Trigger will not move
Unit will not stop when trigger is
released
Motor running but pump not
building maximum pressure or has
irregular pressure
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Loose or disconnected plug
Tripped pressure washer thermal
switch
Power Blast trigger not operating
properly
Circuit Overload
Extension cord too long or wire
size too small
Nozzle partially blocked
Excessive pressure
A small amount of leakage is
normal
Gun safety lock engaged
Power Blast Trigger system not
operating properly
Faucet closed
Unit has been stored in freezing
temperatures
Water inlet screen clogged
Kink in garden hose
Wand nozzle worn out
Air in pump

CORRECTION
Reconnect plug
Allow to cool and restart unit
Call Customer Service Department
Check that the circuit is rated 15 amps
or greater.
Use proper extension cord as
recommended in Operator's Manual
Clean nozzle as instructed in Section 5.2
Clean nozzle as instructed in Section 5.2
If excessive leaking occurs call
Customer Service Department
Release safety lock
Call Customer Service Department
Open faucet
Thaw out unit completely including
hose, gun and wand
Clean screen. See section 5.4
Straighten hose
Replace spray wand
Let pressure washer run with gun open
and wand removed until steady stream
of water is released
