Installing the speakers on the wall
Before installing the speakers on the wall, you need to decide which surround speakers connection you
want. You can connect your surround speakers in 2 different ways.
Connect surround speakers to S-AIR surround amplifier (wireless connection)

Connect surround speakers to subwoofer (wired connection)

Sony recommends you to use wireless connection for this system. For details, see "Step 2: Connecting
the System" (page 19).
The surround speakers supplied are for wireless connection. If you want to change to wired connection,
you need to change the surround speaker cords. For details on changing the speaker cords, see step
2 to 4 of "Installing the speakers to the wall" below.
Caution
• Contact a screw shop or installer regarding the wall material or screws to be used.
• Use screws that are suitable for the wall material and strength. As a plaster board wall is especially fragile, attach
the screws securely to a beam and fasten them to the wall. Install the speakers on a vertical and flat wall where
reinforcement is applied.
• Sony is not responsible for accident or damage caused by improper installation, insufficient wall strength or
improper screw installation, natural calamity, etc.

Prepare screws (not supplied) that are suitable for the holes of the bracket.

Secure the bracket to the wall using hole 1.
Tip
• To prevent the speaker from rotating, use the hole 2, too.
