The supplied rechargeable nickel-metal hydride batteries are not charged from the first time you use them. Be sure to charge them before use. To charge the headphones, place them on the transmitter. The ear pad is not commercially available. You can order replacements from the store where you purchased this system, or at your nearest Sony dealer. Remove the old ear pad by pulling it out of the groove on the housing. -
