Charging the unit The unit contains a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, which should be charged before using for the first time. Open the cover of the USB ( ) jack. Connect the supplied USB ( ) cable to the unit, and then connect the other end to a computer. - Page 11 If the life of the built-in rechargeable battery drops to half the normal length, the battery should be replaced. Consult your nearest Sony dealer for replacement of the rechargeable battery. Avoid exposure to temperature extremes, direct sunlight, moisture, sand, dust or mechanical shock.

Maximum communication range may vary depending on obstacles (human body, metal, wall, etc.) or electromagnetic environment.
