(1) Process time
The operation of 0 step to OUT FlOO i s repeated in the master channel. After this OUT FIOO,
the K3NCPUP2 makes data transfer with the optical data link card, and thereafter, gives the
optical data link card a sending/receiving command to/from the local channel, and
a t
the same
time, executes the operation of 0 step to OUT F l O O aga:in. (Sending/receiving and sequence
operation are made parallelly.) Therefore, the process time is longer by the data communication
time with the optical data link card (approximately 5 ms wt-i e n X/Y points are 2048).
The operation of 0 step to END i s also repeated in the local 'channel. After this END instruction,
the K2CPU-S3 executes data communication with the KJ71 P3. The required data com-
munication time is approximately 3.5 ms when X/Y points are 64. Therefore, the process time
is longer by 3.5 ms.
(2)
Transmission delay time
The output of master cha:.,ieI i s sent to local channel after the next OUT F I O O . After END, the
local channel i s replaced by the image memory which i s used by the programmable controller.
Therefore, i f the output of master channel changes in the vicinity of program step number 0,
the transmission delay time
i s
(1 cycle of K3NCPUP2
+
1 cycle of K2CPU-S3). Reversely, if the
output of local channel changes in the vicinity of program step number 0, the transmission
delay time
is
(3
cycles
of K3NCPUP2
+
1 cycle of K2CPU-S3).
