Assigning I/O devices

Signals can be assigned to the external I/O signal of the servo amplifier. Also, the signals can be set to be automatically
turned on without wiring. In addition, if the external input signal causes chattering due to noise or other factors, the input filter
can be used to suppress the effect of noise. Set in accordance with the system configuration.
Restrictions [G] [WG]
• Some input devices can be set for automatic on, and some cannot. For the input devices that can be set for automatic on,
refer to [Pr. PD01 Input signal automatic ON selection 1].
Restrictions [A]
• Some input devices can be set for automatic on, and some cannot. For the input devices that can be set for automatic on,
refer to [Pr. PD01 Input signal automatic ON selection 1], [Pr. PD41 Input signal automatic ON selection 3], and [Pr. PD42
Input signal automatic ON selection 4].
• Particular devices such as ABS transfer mode (ABSM) or ABS request (ABSR), and particular connector pin numbers such
as CN3-22 may be changed in functions other than the device setting. In addition, each control mode has restrictions on its
usable devices.
Precautions
• If signals for machine protection, such as the forward rotation stroke end and reverse rotation stroke end, are set for
automatic on, protection by the servo amplifier is disabled. Therefore, ensure the safety for the entire system.
