    YP625PD Table of Contents Index Preparation and Setup Preparation and Setup This section helps you prepare your tractor and YP625PD Planter for use, and covers tasks that need to be done seasonally, or when the tractor/planter configuration changes. Before using the planter in the field, you must hitch it to a suitable tractor, inspect systems and level the planter.

You may be severely injured or killed by being crushed between the tractor and planter. Stop tractor engine and set parking brake before attaching cables and hoses.

Only trained personnel should work with system hydraulics. Escaping fluid under pressure can have sufficient pressure to penetrate the skin causing serious injury.
