    About This Manual • Instructions in this manual describe the controls on the remote. You can also use the controls on the player if they have the same or similar names as those on the remote. • “DVD” may be used as a general term for DVD VIDEOs, DVD-Rs, DVD-RWs, DVD+Rs, and DVD+RWs.

    Step 3: Connecting the Video/HDMI Cords Connect this player to your TV monitor, projector, or AV amplifier (receiver) using a video cord. Select one of the patterns A through E, according to the input jack on your TV monitor, projector, or AV amplifier (receiver). In order to view progressive signal pictures with a compatible TV, projector, or monitor, you must use pattern C.
