Appendix2.1 Special relays
The special relays are the internal relays that have specific applications in the
programmable controller. Therefore, do not turn on or off the special relay on the program.
(Except for the ones marked by *1 or *2 in the table.)

Description
• Turned on when there is one or more output
modules of which fuse has been blown or external
OFF:Normal
power supply has been turned off (only for small
ON: Fuse blown module
type). Remains on if normal status is restored.
Output modules of remote I/O stations are also
checked fore fuse condition.
• Turned on if the status of I/O module is different
from entered status when power is turned on.
Remains on if normal status is restored.
OFF:Normal
I/O module verification is done also to remote I/O
ON: Error
station modules.
(Reset is enabled only when special registers
D9116 to D9123 are reset.)
• Turned on when the MINI (S3) link error is
OFF:Normal
detected on even one of the MINI (S3) link
ON: Error
modules being loaded. Remains on if normal
status is restored.
• Turned on when an momentary power failure of 20
OFF:AC power good
msec or less occurred.
ON: AC power DOWN
Reset when the power is turned off and then on.
• Turned on when battery voltage reduces to less
OFF:Normal
than specified. Turned off when battery voltage
ON: Battery low
becomes normal.
• Turned on when battery voltage reduces to less
OFF:Normal
than specified. Remains on if battery voltage
ON: Battery low
becomes normal
OFF:No error
• Turned on when error is found as a result of self-
ON: Error
diagnosis.
• Turned on when the OUT F or SET F instruction is
OFF:No detection
executed. Switched off when D9124 data is
ON: Detected
zeroed.
• Turned on when operation error occurs during
OFF:No error
execution of application instruction. Turned off
ON: Error
when error is eliminated.
• Turned on when operation error occurs during
OFF:No error
execution of application instruction. Remains on if
ON: Error
normal status is restored.
OFF:Carry off
• Carry flag used in application instruction.
