POSSIBLE CAUSE
Loose, missing or kinked boost
reference lines
Loose or missing intake system
sensor connections
Fouled or defective spark plugs
Worn or defective spark plug wires
Incorrect spark plug gap or heat
range
Loose ignition connections
Water present in fuel
Low battery voltage
Kinked or plugged fuel tank vent line
or filter
Incorrect fuel
Clogged air filter
Clogged intake pre-filter
Other mechanical failure

Possible Lean Fuel Cause

Low or contaminated fuel
Low octane fuel
Clogged fuel filter
Low fuel pressure
Loose, missing, torn or kinked boost
reference line from manifold to fuel
pressure regulator or blow-off valve
TROUBLESHOOTING
SOLUTION
Replace boost reference lines
Inspect connections, tighten or
replace as needed
Inspect, clean and/or replace spark
plugs
Your POLARIS dealer can assist.
Set gap to specs or replace plugs
Check all connections and tighten
Replace with new fuel
Recharge battery to 12.8 VDC
Inspect and replace
Replace with recommended fuel
Inspect and replace
Inspect and clean (with soapy water)
