Introduction
This document describes installation and connection of the LINX inkjet printhead (sidewall print) to
the MEDIAJET (MJ) dish filler. The following LINX types are supported:
•
LINX 4900 (discontinued), printhead MK7
LINX 5900 (discontinued), printhead MK7
•
LINX CJ400 (discontinued), printhead MK11
•
LINX 89xx, printhead MK11
•
Before starting with the installation, please carefully read MJ and LINX operating instructions. Please
note that MJ units manufactured before March 2013 (serial numbers below 10313569/11313248)
are not compatible with LINX inkjet printers for sidewall print (MJ w/o base plate rotor cutout/recess).

LINX 4900/5900, printhead MK7: Insert the printhead into the Printhead retainer and align the screw (1) of the printhead with the furthest notch (2) of the retainer.
