• When using center-weighted metering or spot
metering, to focus on the same spot as used
for metering, we recommend using the center
weighted AF range fi nder frame (page 66).
• You cannot select the metering mode when
using the NightFraming/NightShot function.
Adjusting the
exposure
— EV adjustment
You can manually shift the exposure value
determined by the camera.
Use this mode when you do not get the
proper exposure, for instance, the subject
and its background have high contrast
(light and dark). The value can be set a
range from +2.0EV to –2.0EV, in 1/3EV
increments.
