As standard, the boat has one battery which is combined for both engine starter and
service consumption, and installed in the stern battery box. The battery is kept charged
by the engine alternator.
To remove the battery cables (for instance to replace battery or bring it to a charging
station):
 Turn off all items drawing power from the battery.
 Turn the battery main switch to the OFF position.
 Remove the negative cable first, then the positive cable.
 When re-installing batteries, always install the positive cable first, then the
negative cable.

AIN SWITCH FOR BATTERY
The main switch for the battery is installed next to the battery (port side stern storage),
together with the fuses.
When you leave the boat for extended periods of time and when servicing
equipment/parts connected to the electrical system, turn battery switch to ON/OFF
position. See figure below in chapter 5.5, which shows the switch in the switched (green)
mode.

LECTRICAL DIAGRAMS
Electrical diagrams are included as printed attachments to this manual. They can also be
obtained from your dealer or from Ockelbo if they are lost. These diagrams can be used
for technical reference and professional service technicians. If you lack professional skills
for this kind of electrical system, contact your local authorized Ockelbo dealer for help.
5.5 F
USES
Your boat is equipped with automatic fuses that protect the DC power system. If it trips;
the reason for this should be investigated. The fuses can then be reset by pressing the
fuse button. They are individually labelled and are found on the panel in the port side
storage at the stern deck (see the figure given below). The main users in each circuit are
marked on the main fuse panel and also on the diagram.
Some smaller consumers and accessories (lighting, radio, etc.) are connected via separate
fuses under the pulpit on the port side. If you do not find the consumer on the main fuse
panel pictured below, they are located on the secondary panel. It is accessed by
loosening the cover panel (at knee height under the pulpit, no tools needed). These fuses
are of melt type and must be replaced if they trip, but only after the cause has been
determined.
