Switching the device on/off

► The time is also displayed in standby mode if the backlight is not
switched off with the SNOOZE/DIMMER button

► The device still consumes a small amount of power in standby
mode . Disconnect the mains power plug if you do not intend to
use the device for an extended period of time . You will need to
reset the time, alarm time and radio station if no batteries are
inserted .
