ongratulations on your purchase of the Lionel barrel shed. Before you
begin to build the barrel shed, look over these instructions carefully.
The large numbers on the diagrams indicate the order in which to assem-
ble the structure. The small numbers indicate the part number for each
piece. The dotted lines indicate cementing instructions.
Following the procedures given, test-fit the parts together without
cementing to become familiar with how they fit together. Before fitting

Place five of the barrels under the shed.
the parts, trim off excess plastic flash with a modeler's knife. Also use
your knife to remove small parts from the sprues. Do not attempt to
twist them off.
Lionel uses the highest quality of styrene plastic to make its model
kits. Only paint and cement made for styrene should be used. To join
the parts, use cement sparingly, using care not to get cement on
exposed areas. Apply cement to very small parts with a toothpick.
