Step 2 - Remove RAM Ball
If the Thor VM1 dock has a RAM ball attached, the RAM ball must be removed from the
dock to use the U Bracket mount.
Remove the RAM ball. The hardware used to attach the RAM ball to the dock is not
reused for the U bracket mount.
Step 3 - Attach Adapter Bracket
Note: For the steps below, always place the lock washer on the bolt before the flat washer.
1. Attach the Adapter Bracket to the Thor VM1 dock using four each M5x16mm bolt,
2. Attach the Thor VM1/Adapter Bracket assembly to the U Bracket using 4 each 1/4-
3. If the Thor VM1 is not already mounted to the dock,
4. Adjust the Thor VM1 to the desired viewing angle.
5. Torque the 14-20 bolts to 50 in/lbs (5.6 N/m).

M5 lock washer and M5 flat washer. Torque to 35 in/lbs (4.0 N/m).
20x5/8 bolt, 1/4 lock washer and 1/4 flat washer.
Place Thor VM1 in the Dock.
