Term
Real-Time Transmission is transmission in which there is no
perceived delay in the transmission of a voice message or the
response to it. This is a requirement for voice traffic.
The TCP/IP protocol governing electronic mail transmissions
and receptions. An application-level protocol which runs over
TCP/IP, supporting text-oriented EMail between devices
supporting Message Handling Service (MHS).
A number used to identify a subnetwork so that an IP address
can be shared on a LAN. A range of logical addresses within
the address space that is assigned to an organization.
A time zone is a region of the earth that has adopted the same
standard time, usually referred to as the local time.
Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) is a
networking protocol that provides communication across
interconnected networks, between computers with diverse
hardware architectures and various operating systems.
XML is a markup language for documents containing structured
information.
