a) Set the signal transfer rate according to the connected camera using the following menu in the HDCU3100/HDCU3170.

b) Signal transfer up to a maximum of 2 km is possible. However, the actual transfer distance may vary depending on the system configuration of the cameras
and the type of optical fiber cables used.
c) HDC2000 series (HDC2000/2580/2500/2400/1700) support optical fiber connection.
d) Signal transfer up to a maximum of 1.8 km is possible. However, the actual transfer distance may vary depending on the system configuration of the
cameras and the type of triax cables used.
e) Install the HKCU-SFP30 ST-2110 Interface Kit.
f) Connect to the LAN-1 and LAN-2 connectors of the HKCU-SFP30 ST-2110 Interface Kit.
g) Connect to the LAN-COM connector of the HDCU3100/HDCU3170.
h) To support SNMP monitoring, install HZCU-SNMP50 SNMP Agent Software (option).
i) To support Ember+ control, install HZCU-CNFG50 Config Control Software (option).

DC power supply
a) A dedicated power supply (external DC power source) for the camera is required. Power is not supplied from the camera control unit.
b) Configure the following menu settings.
• Set SYSTEM CONFIG t <CAMERA I/F> t CABLE TYPE to COAX.
• Set SYSTEM CONFIG t <VIDEO I/O> t SDI-I/O 3 t SIGNAL to HD TRUNK.
• Set SYSTEM CONFIG t <VIDEO I/O> t SDI-I/O 4 t SIGNAL to HD PROMPTER.
