The current feedrate setting entered via the control panel or by the
PLC is overlaid on the programmed feedrate (0--200 %). The
feedrate can also be corrected by a programmable percentage
factor (1--200 %) in the machining program.
An offset can also be applied via motion--synchronous actions
independently of the running program.
Contour of the finished workpiece. See also --> blank.
A point defined uniquely by the machine tool, such as the reference
point.
Machine tools can execute defined approaches to fixed points such
as tool--change points, loading points, pallet--change points, etc.
The coordinates of these points are stored on the control. Where
possible, the control moves these axes in --> rapid traverse.
A frame is a calculation rule that translates one Cartesian
coordinate system into another Cartesian coordinate system. A
frame contains the components --> zero offset, --> rotation, -->
scaling and --> mirroring.
The following memories of the --> CPU are erased by a general
reset operation:
• --> Working memory
• Read/write area of the --> load memory
• --> System memory
• --> Backup memory
Description of a --> workpiece in the --> workpiece coordinate
system.
Geometry axes are used to describe a 2 or 3--dimensional area in
the workpiece coordinate system.
