Switching Holiday mode  on/off
This function is useful when you go on
holiday if you do not wish to switch the
refrigerator section off completely and
do not need a high degree of cooling.
The freezer section remains switched
on at -18 °C. The refrigerator section is
regulated at a temperature of 15 °C,
which automatically sets the
temperature in the PerfectFresh Pro
zone to between 9 and 12 °C. In this
way, the refrigerator section remains in
operation whilst saving energy.
As a result of the higher temperature
during Holiday mode, the shelf life of
the food is reduced.
Do not store any temperature-
sensitive food which goes off easily
such as fruit, vegetables, fish, meat
and dairy products during this time.
Food which does not go off quickly can
be stored in the appliance for some
time at this moderate refrigerator
section temperature and energy
consumption is lower than in normal
operation.
This also prevents the build-up of
odours and mould which can occur if
the refrigerator section is switched off
and the door is closed.
When the Holiday mode is switched on,
it is indicated on the start screen:

If Holiday mode cannot be switched
on, the refrigerator section has been
switched off separately.
If the Party mode or SuperCool
function are switched on, these will be
switched off when Holiday mode is
selected.
