Use of load power supplies

The system power supply (PS), central modules (CPU), input and output circuits of the
I/O modules and, if applicable, the sensor technology and final controlling elements are
supplied with 24 VDC through the load current supply (PM).
The load current supply (PM) is available in the following versions:
● PM 70W AC 120/230 V (automatic switchover), 24 VDC / 3 A
● PM 190W AC 120/230 V (automatic switchover), 24 VDC / 8 A
Several load current supplies (PM) can be used as follows for higher output currents:
● Parallel connection of two load current supplies
● Every load current supply feeds independent 24 VDC load lines.
Alternatively an external 24 V power supply from the SITOP spectrum can be used.
