    Step 2: Easy Setup When turned on for the first time Wait for a short while before the player turns on and starts [Easy Setup]. Insert two Size AA (R6) batteries by matching the 3 and # ends on the batteries to the markings inside the battery compartment.

    Playback Playing a Disc For playable discs, see “Playable discs” (page 30). Switch the input selector on your TV so that the signal from the player appears on your TV screen. Press Z OPEN/CLOSE, and place a disc on the disc tray. Playing side facing down Press Z OPEN/CLOSE to close the disc tray.

  • Page 16 Playing the same music in different rooms (PARTY STREAMING) You can play music in other rooms simultaneously by connecting Sony products which are compatible with DLNA and the PARTY STREAMING function. The following is a list of different kinds of PARTY STREAMING-compatible products.

    To use the player as PARTY host Select a track in [Music], then select [Start Party] from the options menu to start a PARTY. To close the PARTY, press HOME. To use the player as PARTY guest Select [Party] in [Music], then select the PARTY host product icon.
