DISPOSE OF PROPERLY.
You can return your unwanted lithium ion batteries to
your nearest Sony Service Center or Factory Service
Center.
Note: In some areas the disposal of lithium ion
batteries in household or business trash may be
prohibited.

For the SONY Factory Service Center nearest you call
416-499-SONY (Canada only).
Caution: Do not handle damaged or leaking lithium
ion batteriy.
The InfoLITHIUM is a lithium ion battery pack
which can exchange data with compatible video
equipment about its battery consumption.
When you use this battery pack with video
equipment having the
equiment will indicate the remaining battery time
in minutes*. However, if you use it with video

equipment not having this mark, the remaining
battery capacity will not be indicated in minutes.
* The indication may not be accurate depending on
the condition and environment which the
equipment is used under. If the indication is not
accurate, use the battery pack completely and
then charge it fully. The indication will become
accurate. However, the indication may not
become accurate if you use or leave the battery
pack in a warm place for a long time, or after you
have used the battery pack many times.

Using the battery pack
Attach the battery pack to the video equipment
securely. Refer to the operating instructions of
the video equipment for further information.
Charge the battery pack using a specified charger
such as AC-V615 AC power adaptor before use.
Refer to the operating instructions of the battery
charger for charging operation and time.
The switch on the battery pack (A in the
illustration)
This switch is provided so that you can identify a
charged battery pack.
When a battery pack is removed from a battery
charger after charging, the switch automatically
moves to the "green mark" position. When a
battery pack is removed from video equipment,
the switch moves opposite to the "green mark"
position.
You can change the position of the switch
manually.
Notes
Charge before use.
Use only the specified charger or equipment with
the charging function.
To prevent accident from a short circuit, do not
allow metal objects to come into contact with the
battery terminals (B in the illustration.)
Keep the battery pack away from fire.
Never expose the battery pack to temperatures
above 60°C (140°F), such as in a car parked in the
sun or under direct sunlight.
Keep the battery pack dry.
Do not expose the battery pack to any
mechanical shock.
Do not disassemble nor modify the battery pack.
Do not short the terminals (B in the illustration.)
Do not carry the video equipment by grasping
the battery pack.
Charging while some capacity remains does not
affect the original battery capacity.

Utilisation de la batterie
Fixez correctement la batterie à l'appareil vidéo.
Reportez-vous au mode d'emploi de l'appareil
vidéo pour de plus amples informations.
Chargez la batterie au moyen d'un chargeur
spécifié comme l'adaptateur secteur AC-V615
avant son utilisation.
Reportez-vous au mode d'emploi du chargeur de
batterie pour connaître la procédure et le temps
de charge.

Ce commutateur est prévu pour pouvoir identifier
une batterie chargée.
Lorsque vous retirez une batterie d'un chargeur
de batterie après l'avoir chargée, le commutateur
