Electrostatic discharge from persons

Accumulating an electrostatic charge
Anyone who is not conductively connected to the electrical potential of their envi-
ronment can accumulate an electrostatic charge.
Fig. C-1 indicates the maximum electrostatic voltages that can accumulate in a
person who is operating equipment when he/she comes into contact with the mate-
rials shown in the Figure. These voltages comply with the data in IEC 801-2.
