6) Bucket Full - When the water bucket is full of water, the unit will automatically shut off , make a beeping noise, and the Bucket Full Indicator will light up. The dehumidifier will not function until the water bucket is emptied and placed back inside the unit. The bucket should be cleaned every few weeks to pre- vent the growth of mold, mildew and bacteria. -

CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE HOSE Water can be automatically emptied by attaching a hose to the continuous drainage port on the side of the dehumidifier. This will allow the unit to run continuously (depending on the selected humidity level) without having to empty the water bucket. To drain, simply attach a standard garden hose (not included). -

See the Replacing Filter section on Page 5. For drier air, press the “ ” button to lower the percent humid- ity desired in the room, or set the dehumidifier to CO for maxi- mum dehumidification. Check that all doors, windows, and other openings are securely closed. -

Is the bucket supposed to fill up partially with water? Also, will you have a hose in it because that’s what’s happening

@Kathleen_Curtis I was asking the question is the bucket still supposed to be filling up partially with water even though you have the hose hooked up to it going into the nearby sink. The dehumidifier I put on the counter so the water can go into the sink.
I want to use dehumidifier "continuously" it goes back to bucket filling mode. I have a garden hose hooked up to it. What can I do?
To set the Soleus Air SG-DEH-30M-1 dehumidifier to operate continuously with a garden hose connected:
1. Remove the water bucket from the front of the unit.
2. Open the drain cover on the side of the dehumidifier.
3. Attach a standard garden hose (not included) to the drainage nozzle. Cut the hose to the needed length.
4. Lead the hose to a floor drain to allow water to flow out.
5. Replace the bucket back into the dehumidifier securely. The unit will not operate if the bucket is not in place.
This setup allows the unit to run continuously based on the selected humidity level without needing to empty the bucket.
