# GPI [INPUT]/[OUTPUT] connectors
For connecting GPI-equipped devices. The connector
type is D-Sub 25-pin female. Use the MMP1 Editor for
detailed GPI settings of the unit. Refer to "Specifications"
for current and voltage of each pin, and for pin
assignments.
$ Dante [LINK/ACT]/[1G] indicators
Display the communication status of the Dante [PRIMARY]
and the [SECONDARY] connectors.
LINK/ACT
These indicators flash rapidly if the Ethernet
cables are connected properly.
1G
These indicators are lit when the Dante
network is functioning as Giga-bit Ethernet.
% Dante [PRIMARY]/[SECONDARY] connectors
For connecting to the Dante network. The connector type
is etherCON (RJ-45). A connector can transfer up to 64
channels (in/out) of audio.
NOTE
Use an STP (Shielded Twisted Pair) cable of CAT5e standard
or better to prevent electromagnetic interference. Make sure
that the metal parts of the plugs are electrically connected to
the STP cable shield by conductive tape or comparable
means.
For connecting only Dante-compatible devices or GbE-
compatible devices (including a computer).
^ WORD CLOCK [IN]/[OUT] connectors
For connecting devices to receive or transmit word clock
signals. The connector type is BNC. The WORD CLOCK
[IN] connector is internally terminated by a 75 ohm
resistor.
& ANALOG [INPUT 1-8]/[OUTPUT 1-8] connectors
For connecting devices to transmit or receive analog
audio signals. The connector type is 25-pin D-Sub
(balanced). A connector can transfer up to eight channels
(in/out) of audio.
* [AES/EBU 1-8]/[AES/EBU 9-16] connectors
For connecting devices to transmit or receive AES/EBU
format digital audio signals. The connector type is 25-pin
D-Sub. A connector can transfer up to eight channels (in/
out) of audio.
