If the drive chain is too tight or too
loose, adjust it so that the chain
slack is within the standard value.
Drive Chain Slack
Standard: 30 ~ 35 mm (1.2 ~ 1.4 in.)

Drive Chain Slack Adjustment
NOTE
If a torque wrench is not available,
this item should be serviced by an
authorized Kawasaki dealer.
Remove the seat and the tool kit
(see Seat section in the GENERAL
INFORMATION chapter).
Remove the hook wrench by remov-
ing the hook wrench mounting bolts.
