Charge the battery if necessary and install the battery in the motorcycle.
Fill the fuel tank with fresh fuel.
Check all the points listed in the Daily Pre-Ride Checks section.
Lubricate the pivots, bolts, and nuts.
If the motorcycle has been stored for a long period, its tires may have deterio-
rated depending on the storage condition. Be sure to replace the tires with new
ones before riding.

Performing daily checks and periodic maintenance prevents unexpected troubles
