Connection" of this guide. Installation or storage in the following locations may cause a fire.
Places with dust.
Humid places such as near boilers
Locations exposed to direct sunlight.
An unstable place
Measures to prevent falls
Take measures to prevent NeoFace from toppling over or falling during earthquakes to reduce the risk of
personal injury. Depending on the strength of the wall or unit to which the toppling over or fall prevention
device is attached, the toppling over or fall prevention effect is significantly reduced. Provide appropriate
reinforcements based on the strength of the wall or unit.
The measures to prevent toppling over or fall prevention are intended to mitigate harm such as injuries and are not
guaranteed to be effective for all earthquakes.
Do not use NeoFace in an environment where corrosive gas is present.
Do not install NeoFace in a place subject to corrosive gases including sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen
dioxide, chlorine, ammonia, or ozone. Do not install NeoFace in an environment that contains dust and components
(such as sodium chloride, and sulfur) that promote corrosion in the air or conductive metal. Otherwise the wiring on
the printed circuit board inside NeoFace may be subject to corrosion causing emission of smoke or failure. If you
have any questions on the working environment, contact your sales representative.
Use only specified interface cables
Please use the interface cable specified by NEC and check the devices and connectors to be connected beforehand.
Using cables other than those specified or connecting the cables wrongly may cause a fire due to short circuits.
Please observe the following caution when handling and connecting interface cables.
Do not use damaged cable connectors.
Do not step on the cables.
Do not place any object on the cables.
Do not use cables that are loosely connected.
Do not use damaged cables.
For interface cables, contact your sales representative
Secure the power cord and interface cables
Be sure to secure the power cord and interface cables in place. Incomplete installation cause loose connections and
may cause smoke or fire.
Do not unplug by holding the interface cable
To unplug the cable, remove the screw lock, hold the connector part and pull it straight out. Pulling the interface
cable by holding the cable or applying extra pressure to the connector may damage the cable and may cause a fire or
electric shock.
