- Page 3 DeZURIK Lockout Device for Cylinder Operated KGC Knife Gate Valves Mounting Lockout 1. Mark clip shaft to ensure proper alignment when re- assembling. 2. Remove clip and retract cylinder. 3. Thread lockout collar onto the shaft above the clip. Position the collar about halfway between the mark and the bottom of the clip shaft.
