Wet or winter driving conditions with ice,

The wipers function when moisture is
detected on the windshield. The rain
sensor continues to monitor the amount
of moisture on the windshield and adjust
the speed of the wipers automatically.
You can adjust the sensitivity of the sensor
using the rotary control.
With low sensitivity, the wipers operate
when the sensor detects a large amount
of moisture on the windshield. With high
sensitivity, the wipers operate when the
sensor detects a small amount of moisture
on the windshield.
