TROUBLESHOOTING
Before contacting a Samsung authorized service center, perform the following simple
checks. They may save you the time and expense of an unnecessary call.
Warning indicators and messages
Power source
Message Icon Informs that...
The battery pack is
Low Battery
almost discharged.
Storage media

There is not enough memory to

record.
There is no disc in DVD

camcorder.
Disc Full There is not enough disc space.
Finalized Disc The disc is finalized.
The disc is not recognized in
the DVD camcorder.
Not Supported
The disc is finalized in the
Disc
camcorders manufactured by
other companies
File system does not match to
Disc Error the disc. Disc is formatted in
the PC.
The power is suddenly turned
Write Error off while recording, the file
writing is not properly done.
Not Supported The memory card is not
Card supported in this camcorder.
The memory card or the
Card Error
controller are corrupted.

Action
Replace with a charged battery or connect the
AC power adaptor. (If the AC power adaptor
is connected when "Low Battery" is displayed,
the power is turned off and the charging
starts.)
Action
Delete unnecessary files on the
built-in memory. Use another storage

Erase recorded image.
To record on a DVD-RW/+RW disc,
unfinalize it.
The supported discs are DVD-R,

To recover previous data in your
disc or memory card, turn the
power off and on.
After recovering data, the system

damaged. Try with another memory
card.

Posible solución
Sustituya pora una batería cargada o conecte
el adaptador de alimentación de CA. (Si
el adaptador de alimentación de CA está
conectado cuando aparece "Low Battery", la
unidad se apaga y se inicia la carga.)

Borre los archivos innecesarios en
la memoria incorporada. Utilice otro
soporte de almacenamiento.pages 31
Inserte un disco.
Ponga un nuevo disco.
Borre la imagen grabada.
Para grabar en un disco DVD-
RW/+RW, anule la finalización.
Los discos compatibles son
DVD-R, DVD+R DL, DVD-RW y
DVD+RW.
Utilice un disco nuevo.
Vuelva a formatear el disco para –
RW/+RW.
La superficie del disco no debe
tener arañazos.
Para recuperar los datos anteriores de
un disco o tarjeta de memoria, apague y
encienda la unidad.
Tras la recuperación de datos, el sistema
cambiará al modo STBY. ISi falla la
recuperación de datos, aparece "Disc
Error" o "Card Error" Error de tar.
Cambie la tarjeta de memoria por
la que recomendamos.

de memoria.
