VIEWING THE CONTENTS OF STORAGE MEDIA
• You can transfer or copy the fi les saved on built-in
memory or memory card into PC using USB cable.
• You cannot transfer the movies recorded on a
DVD disc to PC using USB cable. You can play
the movies directly in the PC which DVD drive is
installed.
1. Slide the POWER switch downward to turn on the
power, then set the storage media to "Memory," or
"Card." page 21, 31
• Removable disk supports only built-in memory
and memory card. (DVD is not supported)
2. Connect the DVD camcorder to the PC with a USB
cable. page 97
3. When using Windows® XP/Vista :
• The "Removable Disk" window appears on the
PC's screen after a moment.
• Select "Open folders to view fi les using Windows
Explorer" and click "OK."
When using Windows® 2000:
a. Doubleclick the "My Computer" icon on the
desktop.
The "Removable Disk" icon which represents the
storage media in the DVD camcorder appears in
the "My Computer" window.
b. Doubleclick the "Removable Disk" icon.
4. The folders in the storage media appear.
• Different fi le types are stored in different folders.
• If the "Removable Disk" window does not
appear, confi rm the connection (page 97) or
perform the steps 1 and 2.
• If the "Removable Disk" window does not
appear, click the "My Computer" icon to enter
"Removable Disk."

"Aceptar".
Al utilizar Windows® 2000:
a. Haga doble clic en el icono "Mi PC" en el escritorio.
El icono "Disco extraíble" que representa el soporte
de almacenamiento en la videocámara con DVD,
aparece en la ventana "Mi PC".
b. Haga doble clic en el icono "Disco extraíble".
4. Aparecen las carpetas del soporte de almacenamiento.
• Los diferentes tipos de archivos se almacenan en
diferentes carpetas.
• Si no aparece la ventana "Disco extraíble",
confi rme la conexión o realice los pasos 1 y 2
(página 97).
• Si no aparece la ventana "Removable Disk",
haga clic en el icono "My Computer" para
entrar en "Removable Disk".
