    GENERAL SAFETY RULES Safety is a combination of common sense, staying alert and knowing how your item works. SAVE THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. WARNING: To avoid mistakes and serious injury, do not plug in your tool until the following steps have been read and understood. 1.
  • Page 4 GENERAL SAFETY RULES 14. MAINTAIN TOOLS PROPERLY. ALWAYS keep tools clean and in good working order. Follow instruc- tions for lubricating and changing accessories. 15. CHECK FOR DAMAGED PARTS. Check for alignment of moving parts, jamming, breakage, improper mounting, or any other conditions that may affect the tool’s operation. Any part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced before use.

    ELECTRICAL INFORMATION Guidelines for using extension cords Make sure your extension cord is in good condition. When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw. An undersized cord will cause a drop in line volt- age resulting in loss of power and overheating.

    Use polishing clay after cleaning if you want to give the extra 10 percent. Mask off areas such as handles, mirrors, bumpers, molding and decals to combat possible damage from the polisher. Attach a clean polishing bonnet to your WEN Polisher.
