What to do if ...

The cooking zones are not
functioning
The residual heat indicator is
not displaying anything
Display is switching between
two heat settings
lights up

and number are displayed
If you are unable to remedy the problem by following the above suggestions,
please contact your local Service Force Centre.

Warning! Repairs to the appliance are only to be carried out by qualified service engi-
neers. Considerable danger to the user may result from improper repairs.
Problem
The desired heat setting is not
set
The fuse in the house's electri-
cal wiring (fuse box) has been
tripped.
The child safety device is
switched on.
The cooking zone was only on
for a short time and is there-
fore not hot
Power management is reduc-
ing the power of this cooking
zone
Unsuitable cookware
No cookware on the cooking
zone
The diameter of the bottom of
the cookware is too small for
the cooking zone
Cooking zone on for more
than two minutes without
cookware
Automatic switch-off has
been triggered
Electronics fault
Possible cause
is lit
What to do if ...
Remedy
Set heat setting
Check the fuses.
If the fuses trip repeatedly,
please call an authorised elec-
trician.
Switching off the child safty
device (see section "Child safe-
ty device" in the hob user
manual)
If the cooking zone is sup-
posed to be hot, call the Cus-
tomer Service Department.
See the section "Switching the
power function on and off"
Use suitable cookware
Place cookware on the cook-
ing zone
Move onto a smaller cooking
zone
Use suitable cookware
Switch off cooking zone, place
cookware on cooking zone,
switch on cooking zone
Switch off the cooking zone.
Switch the cooking zone on
again
Disconnect the appliance from
the electrical supply for a few
minutes (Take the fuse out of
the house's wiring system)
If after switching on again,
is displayed again, call the cus-
tomer service department
